Our CEO, Mason Pratt, and our CTO, Brendon Ford, have just returned from the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference that was held in Washington DC this year. The conference is a chance to see first-hand the latest developments from Microsoft and a chance to have one-on-one time with senior Microsoft executives. In previous years we've met with the product leads of SharePoint, the secretive security people behind Rights Management Service, and the drivers of Search across the enterprise, but this year we reached to the top with a roundtable with Microsoft Global CEO Steve Ballmer. Provoke were selected as one of 18 international partners to attend a closed-doors session with Mr Ballmer, and this was an opportunity for our CEO to discuss our cloud strategy and to hear from the top about Microsoft's wider strategy for their Office product suite, SharePoint Services, and Microsoft Online Services.
Provoke are very proud of our ability to pick emerging technologies against our competitors; we were the first partners to see the opportunities with SharePoint a few years ago, and have invested heavily in both the business and technology design processes specifically for SharePoint, and have one of the most experienced SharePoint teams in the country. We recently completed a SharePoint 2010 project for Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, and we are engaged in a number of SharePoint 2010 projects for a wide range of New Zealand organisations and agencies at the moment. We see huge opportunities for organisations looking to leverage the out-of-the-box features of SharePoint 2010, and significant benefits from using our services and experience to customise and develop complex business solutions that are fully integrated into the platform.
We really enjoy being a part of the Microsoft Partner Programme, and our track record speaks for itself. Having a seat around the table with the main global players, and continuing to invest in SharePoint and Microsoft technologies, allows us to stay ahead of the curve and to ensure that our New Zealand client base are quick to gain benefits from new initiatives and strategies.
